First and foremost, thank you for giving me the opportunity to help you in your crisis. We approach your case differently than any other law firm would. Depending on the type of case, we initially try to avoid litigation if possible. Even if you do not start a legal process for several years, you are wise to consult an attorney now for planning purposes. You may be understandably upset and we try to ease your discomfort by letting you know what to expect. When you come in for your consultation, you may wish to prepare a list of questions and we will simplify your case down to one or two pages of notes that you keep. Hang in there. We don’t just provide legal defenses, file lawsuits or file bankruptcy petitions. We look at the whole picture of where you are in life and career and family, potential lawsuits and other benefits. Without charge, we give you a crash course in personal finance including how to figure out your actual net income and expenses; utilize a household budget; provide ranges of what you can afford for housing and motor vehicles. Usually we are able to provide a list of many questions that will be asked at court and what you can do to help or to mess up your case. We take a well-rounded approach to help you obtain a Fresh Start!
How can I help you? My clients feel reassured knowing that my father was a carpenter and my mother a beautician. I graduated high school a year early, approximately 4th of 488 students. For the next 13 years, I attended college usually while working full-time and therefore understand tight budgets; had the highest grade of any law student in 1994 “writing-on” to Law Review at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, primarily due to my research skills; am half way through my MBA; my undergrad degree is in business administration; a Baldwin-Wallace College business professor stated that I was in the top 1% of all students to whom he lectured in the last 20 years; have done extensive research into budgeting and credit; and have a solid background in general practice law for over nine years (plus working for lawyers as support staff for 12 years) in addition to representing recognized creditors in hundreds of foreclosures and collection cases. I am developing a financial awareness package after years of research both personally and professionally as a lawyer and small business owner.
